This unit addresses GIS and T staff and workforce issues within an organization, particularly as they relate to ensuring that GIS and T is appropriately used and supported. The focus of this unit is on the skills and competencies of professionals in the GIS and T domain: how can these skills and competencies be described and evaluated, and how can they be developed through training and education.
