[IP3-2-3] Keypoint detection

Keypoints are objects (or locations) on the ground that reveal locally invariant features in images and therefore are easily detectable by automatic algorithms. Methods for this process employ scale-invariant feature transform (SIFT) algorithms for the automatic detection of geospatial objects.
