[PP1-6] Basics of Atmospheric Physics

Atmospheric Physics describe the processes affecting the physical, chemical and thermodynamic status of planetary atmospheres. In the context of EO sciences, it particularly refers to the physics of the interactions of e.m. radiation traveling across (or emitted by) the atmosphere as the main source of information collected by satellite (in general aerial) sensors.
