[GD2-3] Crowdsourced data collection

Crowdsourcing is the practice of obtaining needed services, ideas, or content by soliciting contributions from a large group of people and especially from the online community rather than from traditional employees or suppliers. Crowdsourced spatial data collection is becoming more and more important. The advantages and disadvantages of crowdsourced data, opensource mapping tools, potential application of crowdsourcing, VGI, OSM or cell-phone based, aspects of crowdsourced data quality and reliabilty.
