Firethorn

The Firethorn or Pyracantha is a large shrub of 4-6 meters.
Introduction
The Firethorn was already in the garden when we bought the house. It is a huge shrub, and I am very tempted to prune it drastically to reduce its size. However, it does flower beautifully in spring, and it does produce many orange berries in autumn.
The berries of this shrub are a good addition to the autumn garden. You may aso want to use them as cutflowers in your house.
