Herbs are plants with no wooden parts. Often kept for their nice flowers. They are either annuals or perennials.
My garden is full of herbaceous plants. Many of which are wildflowers as we recently moved into our house and we left the garden to develop itself. Some, especially in front of the house, are cultivated species and they are a mix of annuals and perennials. As I do not have much time to work in my garden, in between the cultivated plants, you also find many wild plants (weeds). Grass is also a herbaceous species. In front of our house we have a tiny little lawn around an Acer tree.
