Antenna beamwidth is the angular width of the main radiation lobe, commonly measured between half-power points. It controls angular resolution (field of view), coverage (antenna footprint), pointing tolerance (the narrower the beams the more stringent the pointing requirements), interference susceptibility, and link-budget performance.
