Discuss orientational polarisation of media

Concepts

  • [PP2-2-7-5] Orientational polarisation of media
All bi- or multi-polar (non-inert) media have the tendency to orient themselves if an external field is excited. This orientation polarization is caused by negatively and positively charged areas within the media under the premise the media is able to rotate freely. Molecules of liquid water are a prime example.
