DSM can be produced automatically from stereo satellite scenes, from satellite sensors such as GeoEye, IKONOS, SPOT-5, Terra-ASTER etc. The DSM can also be provided from stereo digital aerial photography at various resolutions, depending on the quality and scale of the aerial photography. The quality of the automatic generated DSM is substantially improved if ground measurements from GPS are incorporated in the DSM stereoscopic model.
