To detect fire zone, only few spectral indices are usedful. Fornacca et al. (2018) states that the spectral indices rely on visible and near infrared light that can accurately map burned patches if employed immediately after the fire event, when the magnitude of change in vegetation’s chlorophyll content is the highest.
