[TA14-5-2] Semantic 3D models

A semantic 3D model consists of a 3D model derived from elevation data with an integrated image classification. A classified object thereby consists of a 3D surface or a grouped set of 3D surfaces. A typical example is a 3D city model in the CityGML format.
