[IP3-1-2-1] Soil-adjusted Vegetation Index (SAVI)

This spectral index is calculated using the following formula: SAVI = [(NIR-Red)/(NIR+Red+L)]/(1+L), where L can be, for example, 1 in area with no vegetation or 0 in area with dense veegtaion. It is used to minimize the influence of the soil brightness from the vegetation indices that are based on red and near-infrared wavelengths.
