[PP2-2-5] Dielectric Properties

The electric properties of different materials can be described by two quantities: relative dielectric constant (complex permittivity) and loss tangent. Reflectivity of a smooth surface and the penetration of microwaves into the material are determined by these two quantities. The complex dielectric constant changes mainly due to the change in water content.
