True colour

Introduction

A true colour composite is constructed when the RGB channels relate to the red, green and blue wavelength bands of a camera or multispectral scanner.

Explanation

Landsat-5 TM colour composites of Enschede and surrounding. Three different colour composites are shown: true colour, pseudo-natural colour and false colour.
