Absorptance is the ratio of the absorbed and the incident radiation at a particular wavelength
Introduction
Incident EM radiation (I) is partially absorbed (A) by the matter. The ratio
is absorptance of the object, it depends on wavelength λ and ranges from 0 to 1. It is a property of material and does not depend on I.
