Algebra techniques for change detection

Introduction

This group of techniques includes all kinds of algorithms that are based on combi-nations of values of a pixel in subsequent images, such as image differencing, image ratioing, vegetation index differencing, image regression and change vector analysis. See also Lu et al. (2004).
