Blackbody object radiance

The radiation emitted by a black body is called black-body radiance.

Introduction

A black body is an idealized object with assumed extreme properties that helps us to understand EM radiation. A black body absorbs 100% of incident EM radiation; it does not reflect anything and thus appears perfectly black (assuming only reflected radiation). The blackbody radiance is modelled by Planck's law of radiation.
